The Wicks Custom Electric Guitar is known for being played by Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse is a brain child of mine for as long as I can remember. I have built many of these guitars and think they are one of the best guitars ever built. The carved top was something I fell in love with on Les Pauls when I was young. The springy sound of a Fender Strat has allot to with the scale length of the strings. Pickups are of the same vintage style that made the best music, unique, yet at the same time familiar sounding. The Neck is a hybrid of a Fender Strat and a Les Paul. This seemed to be the next logical evolutionary step. The Fret Board is radiused to 7 1/4 at the Nut to 12 at the Bridge. This is not only more comfortable to play, but it makes string bending a breeze and it won't fret out.

The Wicks Custom starts at $3,500.00, if more inlay or super mods are required the price will be effected. The finish is Clear ONLY on this model, stain is not required on beautiful wood or craftsmanship. BUT if your crazy I'll paint it Lime Green if that's what you want. The key here is custom. My Acoustic Guitars are more rare and are made to order, each one an individual just like its owner.
